Bird watching IN NORWAY

The valleys of Numedal and Hallingdal provide the perdect habitat for some of the Golden Eagles that can be found in the county

Two long valleys - Numedal and Hallingdal - dominate the landscape of Buskerud, which is almost completely landlocked, except for a coastal strip in its south-eastern end. The county has inherited it's name from the farm Buskerud, "the Bishop's clearing", where the Bishop and later, the bailiff lived. Below you will find some of the latest observations from the county.
