Bird watching IN NORWAY

Of all of the counties in Norway it is possibly the western counties that are the most visited. These three counties alone offer two of the longest fjords in Norway with the longest Sognfjord, in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, and the Hardangerfjord in the county of Hordaland. In addition there are two major cities to be found within these three counties with Stavanger in Rogaland and Bergen in Hordaland. Both of these cities act as gateways to the west of Norway with international airports and shipping terminals where car ferries  from England, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands arrive throughout the year.
